Visitation in Chillicothe: Monday, March 22, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Illinois.
Family will receive friends during the visitation for Betty Miller will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at the Chillicothe Christian Church in Chillicothe, Illinois with Pastor Loren Salfrank officiating. Another visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Illinois.
Betty Miller, age 77, of Gillette, Wyoming, died Tuesday, March 15, 2004 at her home in Gillette of natural causes.
Betty Jeane Miller was born January 6, 1927 in Houghton, South Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Bessie Morris. In 1945, Betty married James Robert Miller in Vallejo, California.Betty was a member of the Riverview Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Newport Richey, Florida until moving to Gillette, Wyoming where she attended the Roadway Alliance Church when her health allowed.
Betty is survived by her sons: Robert Lynn Miller of Peoria, Illinois; David Allen Miller of Gillette, Wyoming; James J. Miller of Oregon City, Oregon; Mark Dwayne Miller of Oregon City, Oregon; and Robin Ray Miller of Peoria, Illinois; her daughters: Pamela Jean Lindee of Newport Richey, Florida; Wanda Lou Miller of Peoria, Illinois; Jackie Marie Stewart of Gillette, Wyoming; and Betty Jean Miller-Mulkey of Gillette, Wyoming; her brother, LaVerne LeRoy Spencer of Crystal River, Florida; her sisters: Doris Daly of Aberdeen, South Dakota; Reva Salfrank of Aberdeen, South Dakota; and Marion Elsberry of Cambridge, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Miller; her brothers: Irvin Spencer and James Spencer; her sisters: Miva Young and Abigail Waddington.
