Beverly A. Jellison, 82, of Billings, passed away in Santa Barbara, Calif. On Feb. 10, 2016, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Miles City and attended elementary school in Ismay. Her family then moved to Lavina, where she graduated from Lavina High School as Salutatorian in 1951.
In September of 1954, she married Clayton Jellison, and they had four children: Jeff, Beverly Jo (Aaron), Jon (Suzanne), and Jim (Theresa). She graduated from Eastern Montana College in 1964 with a BS in Secondary Education. She began teaching at Billings Senior High in 1966, and there she remained until her retirement in 1996. Upon retirement, she came out to Carpinteria, Calif., to help raise her grandchildren. She spent countless hours volunteering in various classrooms in the Carpinteria Unified School District.
She is survived by her four children and nine grandchildren: Chris (Maile), Parker, Jack, Audrey, Jacob, Delanie, Bridget, Amelia and Adam.
