Billy Two Moons age 67 of Lame Deer, MT

November 25, 1948 – April 18, 2016

Billy Two Moons, Aenoheso “Charging Hawk” was born Nov. 25th 1948 to parents Austin Two Moons Sr and Hilda Hart Two Moons. The Oldest son, he was traditionally cared for and looked after by his Grandmother Margaret Risingsun. He received his early education at Northern Cheyenne Tribal Schools. He attended and graduated from St. Labre Catholic School, where he was a member of the 1967 Boys State Champion Basketball team. The team, in recent years has been inducted to the Montana State Basketball Hall of Fame. After high school he married Mary Jane Limpy in Sheridan, WY and had 4 children from this union. They later divorced . Billy enlisted in the U.S. Army, Serving 2 years during Vietnam. He was a member of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. After being injured in Vietnam, Billy returned home. Billy went on to attend college at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. After College he returned home to Busby/Rosebud creek, Mt. He then worked for the Tribal H.I.P. program for many years; and later worked many years for the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Security until he retired. Billy later met his companion of 30+ years Arvelos Whitewolf, and they made their home in Lame Deer, MT. Billy was preceded in death by his parents Austin Two Moons Sr. and Hilda Hart Two Moons. Brothers, Austin Two Moons Jr, Kenneth, and John Two Moons; an adoptive brother, Dave Jersey, a sister Betty Jo Two Moons. adopted sister Ann Gallaspy, nephew Dustin Two Moons and his faithful companion Arvelos Whitewolf and two aunts Beatrice Beavrheart and Edna Pardue.

He is survived by his 4 children Loren (Mary), Jason (Sharla), Aldin (Valoria), and Betty Jo (Randall) Two Moons. Brothers; George Two Moons Sr., Tommy (Charlotte) Rockroads, Newton and Sam Americanhorse, Leon Brady, and adoptive brother Butch Small. Sisters: Alberta Fisher; Priscilla Tallbull; Marjorie Eagleman; Patty Ann (John) Brady; Patricia Limpy; and Gloria Waters. Uncles Mathew “Beaver” Two Moons Sr.; Eugene (Thelma) Beaverheart; Martin Hart Sr.; Geofredo “Tweety”Littlebird; Vance Littlebird, Max Hiwalker; and Harry Littlebird Sr. Aunts: Clarice (Bill) Walksalong; and Margaret Shoulderblade. One Niece and three nephews; Reanna, Austin III, George Jr., Brian Two Moons. Special friends, Winfield Russell; Johnny Jo Woodenlegs; Edwin Standing Elk; James Fox; Isadore and Joe Whitewolf. Bill had 28 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. He also helped raise 2 step grandchildren Angel Spottedwolf and Dallazey Two Moons. He was related to Two Moons, Risingsun, Hart, Beaverheart, Littlebird, Kings, Americanhorse, Roundstone, Yellowcats, Hairlessbear, Ironshirt, Russell, Strangeowl, Littlesun, Wolfname families. As our family is very large, we apologize for anyone we left out.
