Our beloved mother left this world January 25, 2007 to be an angel.
Birdie Karen White Hawk was born on August 9, 1947 to the late Benedict and Agnes White Hawk. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. She also liked to sing and dance Indian. She enjoyed attending pow-wows and loved to hear her nephews sing (Red-Paint). She was always willing to help someone in need whenever she was asked.
Birdie is survived by her children all of whom she loved very much, Robin (Jordis) White Hawk, Leslie (Staci) White Hawk, Cheryle White Hawk, Mike Walla, Karen Good Track, TyRae Birthmark and her grandson Jovaughn White Hawk, who she raised as her own, all of Poplar and her 15 grandkids and 1 great grandson. Her mother Gladys Lewis of Brockton. One brother; Philmore White Hawk of Poplar, sisters; Ramona White Hawk, Cheryle (Bobby) Doney of Wiota, Pauline Lewis and Lois Longtree, Ethelene White of Brockton. Her adopted daughter; Rayette Lambert of Brockton, also her longtime friend Ivan Roberts. She had many adopted children, brothers and sisters.
She is preceded in death by 5 brothers and one son.
Birdie worked many places to include A & S Industries, West Electronics and Tribal Express. She also enjoyed working as a bartender for John and Mary Nordwick. Birdie will be missed by everyone who knew her.
