Bonnie Lee (Yarger) Bergerson passed away peacefully Monday February 12, 2018 at Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City.
Bonnie was born in Miles City, Montana April 03, 1942 to Dan and Grace Yarger. She was raised in Brockway, Montana, graduated high school in Circle, Montana.
Bonnie attended Miles Community College, studying business. Her first job was working for the Merel Pearcy agency. She met the love of her life, Bill, while working as a waitress at the local Tasty King. She worked in the meat department at Buttreys for about a year. Bonnie served as a deacon at the United Christian Church.
Bonnie married Bill Bergerson April 28, 1962. Bill brought three children to the marriage, Bob, Cindy, and Kathy. Together they had one child, Rhonda. Bill and Bonnie owned and operated Bills Marine and Cycle for 38 years. They worked side by side until they retired to the home Bill built for them at Sunday Creek Airpark.
Bill and Bonnie traveled yearly to Maui. She loved her walks in the sand, whale watching, and sipping Mai Tais on the deck. As Bill’s health started to fail she became his care giver, learning more about health care than she ever imagined.
Bonnie enjoyed simple things, their cabin at Rock Creek on Fort Peck Lake, boating, family dinners, and having her hair done. She had a big heart and was always willing to listen. She cherished close friends and family.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters: Rhonda (Mike) Webber, Miles City, MT; Cindy (Joe) Scott, Great Falls, MT; step children: Bob Bergerson, and Kathleen Bergerson; sisters-in-law Jeri (Keith) Wilson, Ajo, Arizona and Lauriena Yarger of Conrad, MT; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; cousin Floyd (Diana) Yarger Circle, Montana; half-brother Carl John (Paula) Rice, Cherryvale, Kansas.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her spouse Bill Bergerson, parents Dan and Grace Yarger, brothers Tom and John Yarger, sister Montie Ann Nagel, and grandson Todd Bergerson.
Special thank you to Bonnie’s care angels: Jackie, Chantel, Sandy and Donna. Without your help Bonnie could not have stayed in her home for as long as she did.

I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up in Circle and knew Grace, Dan, and all the Yarger kids. My late husband Lyle Quick was Bob Yarger’s (Dan’s brother) brother in law. I am in Goodland, KS visiting my daughters right now and saw Bonnie’s obituary on their Facebook accounts. So many wonderful memories of a great and fun family.

We go back many years. Bonnie was loveable when she was first dating Bill. That first impression was correct and was proven over again as the years passed. Bonnie was a perfect companion and a perfect compliment for Bill as a wife, family member and as a business partner. She will be loved and missed for the rest of our lives.
