In Memory Of

Bonnie Bundy, age 77, of Miles City.

May 25, 1943 – April 23, 2021

Bonnie Jean Bundy, age 77, passed away April 23, 2021 after a long hard battle of 10 years with Tardive Dyskinesia.

Bonnie was born in Miles City on May 25, 1943 to Charles Bundy and Betty (Powellek) Bundy where she joined an older brother and sister, then later four more brothers joined the family.

She went to grade school and high school in Miles City and graduated from CCHS in 1962.  In 1963 she entered nurses’ training in Lewistown, Montana, graduating as an LPN.  After obtaining her state license she went to work for Holy Rosary Hospital. Later on, she changed her profession to bartending at the Alta Club and the Keglers Club.

In 1978 she went back into nursing at the Veteran’s Hospital in Miles City.  She worked as an LPN then went to pharmacy and sterile supplies, earning many awards for her hard work. She retired after 30 plus years with the V.A. and then volunteered at Holy Rosary Health Care.

Bonnie enjoyed bowling, darts, softball, pool and line dancing. She was an avid bowler, bowling in many local, state and national tournaments.  She won many awards in bowling and darts.  Bonnie also enjoyed yardwork and woodworking. She built many yard figurines, plus a couple of additions to her home, with help from her brother Jim.

She made a trip back east with a good friend, Leona Zaharko.  They visited many Bundy relatives in Illinois and friends from the V.A. in Minnesota and Missouri.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Ruby Fern Bundy, two nephews John Charles Bundy and Braden Stewart.  She is survived by sister Shirley (Phil) Stewart of Billings, Montana, brother George (Patcee) Bundy of Elizabeth, Colorado, brothers Roger, Jim (Carol), Don (Nina), and Duane (Jane) Bundy all of Miles City, Montana, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Residential Living Hospice, or a charity of one’s choice.

Bonnie- you finally got a perfect game!
