In Memory Of

Bradley Lawson, age 26, of Miles City

October 13, 1997 – February 14, 2024

Bradley Dean Lawson (1997-2024)

Bradley Lawson, aged 26, of Miles City, Montana, passed away peacefully in the arms of his devoted mother on February 14, 2024.

Born on October 13, 1997, to Gary and Martie Lawson in Miles City, Montana, Bradley would live his life defying the odds. Despite being medically informed that he may not live a full and long life, Bradley proved those predictions wrong at every turn. Bradley blossomed into a smart, funny and outspoken young man, graduating from Custer County District High School in 2016. He had a love for cooking shows, movies about horses, cartoons with his cousin Kayla and football—especially the Green Bay Packers. He even had the privilege of watching them play at Lambeau Field! GO PACK GO!!!

Music and the great outdoors were other passions that fueled Bradley’s spirit. He relished listening to his favorite tunes and singing along. On sunny days, he never turned down the chance to go for a walk or a ride, soaking up the warmth and beauty of the world.

Bradley’s gentle smile brought immense joy to those who knew him. He was never far from his parents or his aunts and uncles. Whether it was family, friends, and/or his devoted caregivers stopping by to spend time with him, he was always enveloped in love. His infectious laughter and love-blown kisses stole the hearts of everyone he met. His mother often called him her social bug! Bradley was also a playful jokester and had no trouble teasing. Although he could be demanding and bossy at times, he somehow always managed to have them laughing with his crooked grin.  He enjoyed heckling his Grandma Mary and Aunt Lynn (whom he affectionately called Lynnie) the most. Among his many cousins and often debated, he made sure they never forgot that his favorite was Drake Davis! Being that his favorite Aunt was Ida, Drake’s mom, it seemed fitting.

Though Bradley faced numerous struggles in life, he valiantly fought the good fight until he could fight no more. Living 26 years of life to the fullest and loudest, Bradley’s journey came to an end. He now begins his eternal journey with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bradley grew up with two brothers Michael and Adam Lawson, and a sister Heather Lawson.  He was preceded in death by William Van Ham and Warren Lawson (Grandfathers) and Jimmy Van Ham (Uncle). He is survived by his parents, Gary and Martie; both Grandmothers – Barbara Lawson and Mary Van Ham.  Bradley had numerous Aunts and Uncles – (Paternal; Tom, Ron, Theresa, Darren, and Patty.  Maternal;   Lynn, Ida, Shirley, Joe, and Missy.) and numerous cousins all of whom made it a point to make Bradley the center of attention which he loved.

Bradley’s memory will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to resilience, love, and the joy he brought to those around him.

If friends should desire donations to help the family with funeral costs may be sent to Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.  The family deeply appreciates all the warm thoughts and wishes during this very difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, with family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at The Parlor 1806 Main Street, Miles City, MT.

I loved Bradley showing him things growing in the garden and a new kitten was so fun because he loved it all and had to laugh when my husband pulled up to Clara Jo’s driveway on his motorcycle and all of his attention was on RJ and that bike. Boys will be boys lol. I’m so sorry he’s gone from this earth, but he is now healed and whole and can do all the things in heaven that his earthly body wouldn’t allow him to do!
