Brian Vaughan Wagner, age 49, passed away July 26, 2015 at the Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.
Brian was born January 18, 1966 in Circle, MT to parents Jean (Vaughan) and Victor Wagner. He was the fourth of five Wagner siblings and was raised on the family farm north of town. Brian was a happy child with a charismatic personality and enjoyed many friendships, most notably his partner in adventure, Scott Hisdahl. Where there was one, there would be the other, being nearly inseparable until Brian graduated high school in 1984 and left home to attend Wyotech in Laramie, WY. After graduating as a diesel mechanic, he moved to Baker, MT where he plied his trade. The farm life called him back home, however, and he returned to Circle to live and work on the Wagner place. He spent his time as a farmer, trucker, mechanic, and all around hand.
Brian met and was wed to Suzette Douglas in 1995 and she and son Sam took up residence with him on the farm. To this union was born his “gorgeous redhead” Holly Jean Wagner, whom he loved dearly. The family eventually moved to Great Falls, MT where Brian gained some more of his favorite stories to tell working as a manager at Fast CarWash.
He returned to Circle alone and took up a new career as a carpenter working for and learning under Dean McCabe, and later Josh Murphy, in the construction business.
Following a five year courtship, he was wed to Jolie Moon in 2013. The couple worked most often as a pair and shared the job of parents to daughters Shannon Sierra Moon and Jaimie Rae Maves. Brian spent his time wearing many hats. He did whatever job he was called upon to do that day including carpenter, cowhand, bartender, truck driver, farmer and especially father and friend.
He had many struggles in his life but he possessed a big, giving heart and a beautiful soul. His friends and family will miss him dearly.
Brian was preceded in death by grandparents Gottlieb and Lydia Wagner and Hugh and Emily Vaughan; aunts Eileen (James) Hahn and Eleanor (Ralph) Kress; uncles Howard Vaughan and Dennis Vaughan; and his loving mother Jean, whom he missed very much.
Brian is survived by wife Jolie Wagner; daughters Holly Wagner, Shannon Moon and Jaimie Maves; aunt Violet (Newt) Derby; uncle Gary (Gloria) Vaughan; siblings Nora (Tom) Ellsworth, Bruce (Darci) Wagner, Lois Wagner, Amy (Caleb) Mills; nephew Caleb Ray Mills; nieces Danielle (Robert) Fox, Anica, Jolene, Cassi, and Kirsten Wagner, Megan and Morgan Mills; great-nephew Gavin Ellsworth as well as numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Circle City Park in Circle, MT with burial following in Riverview Cemetery.

Jolie & Girls…After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with Brian. This is what keeps him alive in our hearts and in our minds. I will never forget when I witnessed, for the first time, Brian listening to “Mama I’m Coming Home”. He had a strong love for all of you just as he did his mother. I am so thankful to be a part of your lives. My condolences to you all!
Love and Hugs,
Nik (Aunt Nikki)
