Bryan, age 59, passed away at his home in Gillette, Wyoming on November 14, 2005.

Bryan was born May 7, 1946 in Valentine, Nebraska the son of John Hubert and Juanita Ruth (Thrapp) Lolley. His very early years were spent in Valentine, Nebraska and Mission, South Dakota. The family moved to Igloo, South Dakota in October, 1951 where he started school. Upon the death of his father in February, 1956, the family moved to Edgemont, South Dakota where he went to school until 1964, transferring back to the school at Igloo where he graduated in 1965. He joined the Navy June 17, 1965 and served two tours in Vietnam earning the National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars. He was honorably discharged June 13, 1969 with the rank of Petty Officer, Third Class. He was very proud of his service to his country, flying the flag everyday. In 2003 he was commissioned an Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska by Governor Mike Johanns.

Bryan was united in marriage to Ginger Marie Engebretsen February 21, 1970 at Glenrock, Wyoming and born to this union were two daughters, Monty Jo and Darby. They lived in Edgemont, South Dakota where he worked for a local construction company until May 1, 1971 when he was employed by the Burlington Northern Rail Road, now BNSF from May 1, 1971 to his retirement in 2003. While working for the rail road at Edgemont, he served on the Edgemont City Council and held several offices in the local United Transportation Union until moving to Gillette, Wyoming where he continued working for the BNSF and served the Northeast Wyoming Labor Council as President for two terms. Failing health forced his early retirement from the BNSF in 2003 giving him more time to spend with his grandchildren of whom he was very proud, carrying photos of them with him on his watch chain.

Bryan is survived by his wife, Ginger of Gillette, Wyoming; two Daughters: Monty Jo of Gillette, Wyoming and Darby and Del Wright of Gillette, Wyoming; grandchildren: Brianna, Jacob, Londyn, Bryce and Ian; brother, Joseph and Elva Lolley of Hot Springs, South Dakota; sister, Grace Sylvester of Calhan, Colorado; sister, Shirley and Larry Doyle of Sierra Vista, Arizona; sister, Carmen Lolley of Gillette, Wyoming; brother, Clarence Sonny and Beth Lolley of Edgemont, South Dakota; brother, Robert and Linda Lolley of Oak Harbor, Washington; brother Richard and Roxey Lolley of Rapid City, South Dakota; brother Neil and Pauline Lolley of Gillette, Wyoming and several nieces and nephews.
