Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming

Funeral services for Bryce Chavers, will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 2, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Charley Carpenter of the New Life Wesleyan Church officiating. Visitation will be from 3:007:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.

Bryce Kelly Chavers, age 16, died at his home in Gillette, Wyoming on Saturday, November 26, 2005.

Bryce was born on September 30, 1989 the son of Bobby Ray Chavers and Tammy Kaye Porter in Sheridan, Wyoming. The family moved to Gillette, Wyoming and then to Grand Junction, Colorado when he was five. Then the family moved back to Gillette, Wyoming when he was ten years old. He was attending Twin Spruce Junior High in Gillette and worked at Camelanes. Bryce loved tigers, bowling (he bowled on two leagues), tinkering with things to find out how they worked, inventing things, spending time with his brother and tormenting him, playing with his baby brother to make him tough, fishing, camping, riding in his dads eighteen wheeler and Harry Potter. His ambitions were to be a tattoo artist, go into the service, drive truck and be a pilot.

Bryce was survived by his mother, Tammy Porter of Gillette, Wyoming; father, Bobby Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; three brothers: Bubba Proffit and Jacob Hochhalter of Gillette, Wyoming, Colton Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; sister Angela; paternal grandfather, Ray Chavers of Pensacola, Florida; paternal grandmother, Helen Hadley of Pensacola, Florida; maternal grandmother, Janet Porter of Sundance, Wyoming and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Porter.
