Good thoughts to Burnell’s family. My husband, Sherman Sloan worked with Burnell in the drug store in Mott all through his high school days. Burnell, was also his cousin on the Svihovec side. Burnell was Best Man at our wedding in 1957, then we lost track, but found him and Norma in Terry years later and stopped to visit them when traveling through Montana. He was a good guy. If you come to ND, go south of Mott 18 miles to “Flag Hill” Svihovec homestead and you can still see where his family farm was located.
