Funeral Services: will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 10:00 am at the VFW Hall in Jordan

Interment: will follow Steve's Fork Cemetery

Carla Jean Fitch, age 47, of Jordan, MT passed away at the family ranch in Jordan, MT on November 30, 2004.

Carla was born in Sidney, MT on May 4, 1957, the daughter of Ron and Georgia (South) Carter. Carla and her family moved to Jordan when she was nine years old. Carla and Monte were married on Sept 17, 1973. They moved to the family ranch and spent the next thirty one years there. Carla enjoyed craftwork and gardening. She loved holding babies! If there was a baby anywhere around its a sure bet Carla was holding it. Carla liked caring for young people and was happiest when her children, nieces, nephews, and their friends were around. She was a member Montana Wool Grower Association and the Womans VFW Auxiliary Mustang sports was a favorite of Carlas as she watched Kyle and the rest of the teams play ball!

Carla is survived by her husband Monte Fitch of Jordan, MT, her son Kyle Fitch of Jordan, her parents; Fred and Georgia Schmidt of Gillette, WY and sisters Rhonda (Pat) Gaffield, Debbie Ledbetter and Sherry Orcutt and Shelly (Leoard)Besel all of Gillette, WY, two brothers Jim Carter of Gillette, WY, Joe Schmidt of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her father, daughter Ashley Nicole Fitch in 1991 and son Justin Wheeler Fitch in 1998.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2004 from 1-6pm at the Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Jordan. Funeral serviceswill be held on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 10:00 am at the VFW Hall in Jordan. Interment will follow Steve's Fork Cemetery.
