Carmen Marie Eagle BoyJanuary 21, 1964- June 7, 2007On June 7th, 2007, at 6:00 a.m. Carmen walked through the pearly gates of heaven with all her family that went before her. Carmen Marie Eagle Boy, age 43, of Poplar, Montana passed away on June 7, 2007 at 6 am at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana.

Carmen was born January 21, 1964 in Poplar to Carmelita and Nelson Eagle Boy.She attended Poplar schools, played basketball in her junior high and high school years, graduated in 1984 from Darby High School. During summer of her school years Carmen worked at the Poplar Hospital as a dishwasher, housekeeper and nurse's aide. Carmen loved to ride horse with cousins Verdine Sparvier and Russell and Dodey Black Thunder; they could ride for hours talking and laughing just enjoying the outdoors. She also liked to go hunting with her dad and brothers, uncles and cousins. Carmen also worked at A&S Tribal Industries for a while as Split Netter and in Deep Draw.Carmen loved to visit with family and her many friends; everybody that knew her loved her generous nature, her kind heart was always open and willing to help those in need. If she could; she would. Her greatest joy was when her first-born grandchild Donte was born on her birthday; together they'll share that day forever.

Carmen is survived by her mother Carmelita of Poplar, her son Choaya Jay Eagle Boy and her daughter Jessica Lee Boyd both of Poplar; brothers Terry (Georell) Eagle Boy of Minneapolis, MN and Charles Four Bear of Poplar; sisters Doremis (Charlie BD) Eagle Boy, Angelica Wallowing Bull, Julia Young, Shelley Summers and Nicole (Darrell) Red Dog all of Poplar; nephews J.D. McClammy and family, Charles Red Boy and family, Joshua Wallowing Bull and family, Todd Spotted Wolf, Charles Eagle Boy, Ronnie Grant, Kurt Big Leggins Jr., Michael Russell and family, Matthew Black Thunder and Gerald Young; nieces Terrise Little Chief and daughter; Terri and Deanna Youpee, Pearl Rose DeMarrias, Allysa and Tammy Eagle Boy, Natasha Eagle Boy, Kristi and Keedra BigLeggins; grandchildren Tre Scott, Donte and Micah Eagle Boy; also many extended families, the Two Bulls, Iron Bears, Sparviers, Lezards, Boyds, Walking Eagles, Red Eagles, Azures and Dimas. Carmen will be greatly missed by those who knew her. We love you so may your journey be peaceful.

Carmen Marie is preceded in death by her daddy Nelson J. Eagle Boy, maternal and paternal grandparents, sisters Angeline Snookie Wallowing Bull, Antoinette Wallowing Bull, brothers Arnold Choaya Eagle Boy, Kurt Moonman Big Leggins, aunties, uncles and cousins.

A Vigil Service for Carmen Marie Eagle Boy will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday June 15 at the Poplar Cultural Center with Father Francis Schreiber officiating. Interment will follow at the Poplar City Cemetery.
