Carol Ardell Baney, 76, of Colstrip died February 15, 2016 at Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, MT.
Carol was born in Glasgow, MT on September 20, 1939 to Clarence and Beda (Wellman) White. She attended grade school and high school in Nashua, MT, graduating in 1957.
On June 1, 1957 Carol married Stanley Ernest Baney in Great Falls, MT. To this union three children were born: Renee, Carmen, and Phillip. Carol and Stanley lived in different parts of Montana during their life together. One of their favorite places that they lived was Glasgow.
Carol worked for the Postal Service in Glasgow and as the head housekeeper in Sidney at the Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved birds, and spending time gardening.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Levi White and Beda Marie Wellman White; husband Stanley Baney; daughters: Renee and Carmen Marie Baney; brothers: Clifford, Bill, & Rudolf White; sisters: Mercedes Perry, Murnie Weinmeister, and Elva Morrison.
She is survived by her son Phillip Stanley (Debbie) Baney; sisters: Darlene Holt and Valerie Paulson; all of her grandchildren: Jessica Peabody, Buffy Olson, Sonny, Shawn and Sheldon Sorenson, and Steve Geiser; great grandchildren: Garrett Peabody, Ciara Olson, Cile and Keelen Geiser; and a great granddaughter: Kinlee Grace Buckles, born a week before Carol’s passing; and Numerous nieces and nephews.
