Carol Ann Bahr, was born December 10, 1949 in Crow Agency MT. to William Ernest Bahr Sr., and Gladys Bigheadman Bahr. She grew up along the Tongue River and although she traveled many places, Ashland was always her home. As we share our stories of her life, she will live on through all of us. Carol embodies home for many in the Ashland community.
In the early morning hours you quietly slipped away and left a void in all our hearts. You fought a valiant fight and now your pain is no longer.
Throughout the years you opened your home to many and it was a gathering place for family and friends. You raised several of your grandchildren and each would like to think they were your favorite. You were always willing to help anyone and believed in the value of hard work. You wouldn’t loan out money, but if someone completed a chore to your satisfaction, you made sure they were rewarded.
You had a great sense of humor and you were known to interject your humor at just the right moment. As you battled your illness, your humor was a source of comfort to all of us and continues to carry us through, we love you.
Carol was preceded in death by parents William and Gladys, Siblings: Gerald Harris, Pat Harris, Lester, Betty, Linda, Patricia, Bill and Joe Bahr, Grandsons: Jeff Parker, Ross “Boonzie” Parker.
Carol was survived by daughters, Cece Bracken, Cindy Sue Gowin, By her siblings: Cecilia Bahr-Thex, Mary Lou, Benji, Francis Bahr(Suzanne Bahr) and multiple extended relatives from both sides of her family.

I always like how people say that “I’m not alone” and there are others who feel the same as I do, but when its 4 am my eyes burn with tear-stained cheeks there is no one to hear my muffled cries and it’s hard to believe that there is someone broken like me in the world with out you
