Carol F. Johnson, age 56, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Carol was born in Cadillac, Michigan on March 28, 1959, the daughter of Louis James and Rose Marie Carpenter. She attended schools in Michigan, moving to Miles City with her family and four siblings. She worked for various places as a housekeeper. Due to her failing health, she was forced to stay home.
Carol loved to play all kinds of card games with her family. She loved animals, especially her cats and dogs.
Carol is survived by a son, Harold “Pete” James Woehl of Miles City, MT; a daughter, Candy Ann Carpenter of Miles City, MT; two brothers: Louis Carpenter of Miles City, MT and Billy Jo Carpenter of Cadillac, MI; two sisters: Kim Neibauer of Miles City, MT and Tina Bruce of Miles City, MT and four grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her parents James and Rose Marie Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
