Carol Vaccaro was suddenly taken from her family on March 21, 2014. Carol was born in Clinton, Illinois to Charles William and Aldora Lucille (Funk) Bateson, on September 24, 1951. She joined Art, Sharon, and Beverly, later another sister Shawndra was adopted. She lived in Clinton until she moved to Arizona in 1972. There she met her life companion and loving husband Joseph Anthony Vaccaro.
Joe and Carol married quickly on October 2, 1972. They were married for 35 years when Joe died on August 23, 2007. Joe and Carol had 4 children: Rebecca (Mike Easterbrook) Vaccaro of Circle, and her children Joseph, Andrew (Tammy Leeson), Nicole (Peter) Hunt of Seattle, Melissa (Joshua Nordwall) Vaccaro, Stoney and Hunter Olson all of Circle. David (Juanita) Vaccaro of St. Cloud, MN and their children Mason Hastings, Felicia Franks, Tisha (Jonathan) Johnson, Debbera (Adam) Callahan all of South Carolina, Trisha (Anthony Johnson) Cunningham of St. Cloud, Jolena Vaccaro of Circle, and Brandon Vaccaro of Billings. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews in AZ, IL, and NY states.
She was predeceased by her husband Joe, parents Bill and Aldora Bateson, in-laws Joe and Florence Vaccaro, brother in law John Vaccaro, sister in law Jane Bateson, and great niece Amanda Mosley.
Carol will always be remembered for her kindness and her “Gift of Gab”. A special thank you to Patti Wittkopp PA-C, your kindness and caring at this time will never be forgotten. Mom always thought very highly of you.
Condolences can be sent to the family at P.O. Box 372 Circle, MT 59215. There are no funeral services planned. A community celebration of Carol’s life will be planned at a later date.
