Chad Rudolph Elkshoulder, Ho’neohvovo’haestse “Spotted wolf”, was born December 22, 1987 to Candace Elkshoulder and Elmer Yarlott, Jr. He was raised by his grandparents, Julie and the late Leonard Elkshoulder, Sr. outside of Birney, MT. As a child, he attended schools in St. Labre, Hardin (Middle School), NTCS, and later achieved his GED from Lame Deer. He attended college at Chief Dull Knife College.
In 2004 he started a family with Kendra Fitzpatrick and had 3 children Tyra, Delonte and Layla. Later, he met Anna Realbird and from this union had a son Jaydel Leonard.
Chad always had a nickname for everyone, and if you didn’t have one, you had many. He was a loyal Los Angeles Chargers fan and a diehard Busby Eagles fan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing pool. He had a talent for mechanics and could fix anything, calling himself a self-taught, “you tube” mechanic.
He is preceded in death by Grandparents Eva and Rudolph King Sr., Leonard Elkshoulder Sr., Elmer Yarlott Sr., sister Cheyne Elkshoulder and nephew Keshawn Scalpcane.
His survivors include: His significant other Anna Realbird, Children: Tyra, Delonte, Layla, Jaydel, Parents: Candace Elkshoulder and Elmer Yarlott Jr.,Siblings: Annette (Tiger) Scalpcane, Nate (Paula) Stops, Elisha Yarlott, Joe and Jonathan Anketell, Presley (Ian) Bracken, Jeffery (Suntaya) Elkshoulder, Cameron Elkshoulder, Neices and Nephews: Keaunna, Caleb, Monica, Derek, and Moises Yarlott, Tasia and Keaunu Scalpcane, AJ Castro, Thales Nathan and Francelli Stops, Thomas Anketell, Blaine and Alaia Elkshoulder, JaiLyn LittleLight, Gracelyn Harris, Audrey ES-Ramirez, Aaliyah, Asia, Lelani and Halen Elkshoulder; Grandmas Julie Elkshoulder and Kaale Delma Yarlott.
