Charlene was born on August 30, 1939 in Malta, Montana, the daughter of Jesepth and Charlene (Johnson) Banfield. She moved with her family from Malta to Kinsey, Montana where she began her schooling. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School. She married Francis Paul Christopherson in Miles City on July 5th 1957. Together they began to raise their family of seventeen children. Charlene was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Moose Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by all her family, friends and all who knew her.
