In Memory Of

Charles Bush, age 79, of Miles City.

August 18, 1945 – May 31, 2025

Charles (Chuck) Bush, age 79, of Miles City passed away May 31st at his home.
Chuck was born August 18, 1945 to Walter and Josephine Bush in Cut Bank Montana. He was the youngest of three children, older sisters Donna and Pat. When he was three years old, they moved to Billings where he attended school graduating from Billings Senior in 1963. After high school he attended Billings Business College. While at BBC he met his future wife, Ann Kreitinger. They were married October 21, 1967 in Golva North Dakota. To this union came four children, Chuck Jr, Brian, Jeff, and Brandi. At the time of his passing, they had been married for 57 years.
Chuck worked for Gamble Robinson from 1967 to 1980. While working as a salesman for Gamble Robinson he and his new family moved around Montana. They finally landed in Miles City for the second time. In 1980 he was told they were transferring him to Billings again, he wanted his family to stay in Miles City so he left Gamble Robinson and went to work for A&T Supply, where he met many wonderful people that he considered friends until his last day. When A&T Supply was sold, he went to work for Terry Cline at the Miles City Laundry as a delivery driver. He was at the laundry until he retired at 65. He took a part time job at Reynolds Grocery store where he was able to see many of his friends again.
Chuck was active with his children’s sports endeavors. He was a cub scout leader and volunteered to help with Miles City Youth Baseball Association. Whether it was selling Christmas trees for the MCYBA or working in the concession stand at the games. His favorite was working the concessions where he could visit with other baseball fans. Chuck loved his family and the outdoors. Hunting, Fishing, Camping were all very special to him and he loved teaching his children these skills.
Chucks last two years were trying on his health. Ann was determined to keep him at home where he belonged. This would not have been possible without the Hospice staff of Miles City. Kelly Tarr, Patsy White, Nancy Patch, Holly Parsons, Melissa Swanson, Kassidy Richards, Mary Weimer. The Bush family can not thank you enough for making Chuck’s last years comfortable and full of laughter. All the staff from Hospice care are considered part of Chucks family.
Chuck is preceded in death by parents Walter and Josephine Bush, sister Pat (Roger) Kramer, Brother in Law Jim Koerber.
Chuck is survived by his wife Ann Bush, children Chuck JR (Sandy) Bush, Brian (Christy) Bush, Jeff (Lexie) Bush, Brandi Bush. sister Donna Koerber; grandchildren Brianna Bush, Zachary Bush, Jacob Bush, Mason Bush, Bill Bush, Zoe Bush, Dylan Pino, Jackson Pino; numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a special friend, Ron Bartkowski who always took time to come and visit Chuck.
A celebration is being planned in August and announcements will be made when times are set.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Wake Up Lace Up.
