Charles Arthur Cahill, age 77, of Tucson, Arizona formerly of Miles City, passed away on Wednesday, January 05, 2011 at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, AZ.
Charles Chuck Cahill was born June 27, 1933 in his grandmothers house in Miles City, Montana, the son of Art and Grace (McMullin) Cahill. Chuck attended grade school and high school in Miles City, graduating in 1951. He continued his education at Montana State University, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1955. Most of his career was spent working for General Electric. He married Elizabeth Betty Bridges in Brockton, Massachusetts, on October 5, 1960. Chuck retired at the age of 60 and moved 13 years ago from Potomac, Maryland,to Tucson, Arizona, where he resided until the time of his death.
Charles is survived by his wife Betty Cahill and daughter Lynette Cahill both of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Phyllis and brother James.
At the familys request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City.
