Interment: will follow in the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery in Miles City with full military rites
Charles Chuck Robert Sarkody, Jr, age 67, of Miles City passed away at the VA Nursing Home in Miles City on November 4, 2004.
Chuck was born on August 20, 1937, to Charles and Anna Therese (Bota) Sarkody, Sr. in Detroit, MI. Chuck graduated from Lincoln Park High School and joined the United States Army on February 1, 1956. He was stationed in New York for several years where he received Medical Lab Specialist training. After Chucks honorable discharge from the Army, he continued on as a medical lab technician in New York, Detroit and Florida. He moved to Miles City in 1996, where he had made his home since.
Chuck is survived by his daughter Julie Anne Evans of Luna Pier, MI, his grandchildren, Dawn Evans and Rachel Evans and three great-Grandchildren, Brittany Evans, Justin Micheaux and Jacob Micheaux.
He was preceded in death by his brother Gerald Sarkody and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 8, 2004 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow in the Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery in Miles City with full military rites.
