Andrea, Beth, Duane and family,
I am extremely saddened by the tragic passing of Chuck. I imagine you find it hard to wrap your head around it all, as I too struggle. My thoughts, prayers and tears are with you as you prepare to lay him to rest and as he transitions and continues his journey on the other side. May you be comforted when you need it, cry when you need too, laugh when the moment strikes and find healing through your grief and mourning. I will miss him and already do, may our ancestors greet him when he arrives and I look forward to the day when we will greet each other again. Until then, be kind and gentle to yourselves and each other, may Maheo’o keep you in peace.

Deb and Pete Peters says
Beth and Family: When visiting, family was Chucks favorite subject. Travels, accomplishments, or just news, most all his stories started with “We”, whether it was a trip to Key West, Spokane, Europe, or just fishing at Black’s Pond. You all were his favorite thing to share. He was so proud of your extended family. I had heard so many positive stories, I almost felt I had met Stacey, Jory, Andy, and AnnaBeth, , long before this. Additionally,, over 500 kids have passed Colstrip Hunter Education, in the many years Chuck taught. He leaves a huge legacy, the world is a lesser place now. We are so sorry for your loss, and you all are in our thoughts. Deb and Pete Peters
Joy Peters says
