Charles Markos was a longtime resident of Powderville. He died peacefully on December 25, 2019 in the home where he was being taken care of by his daughter, who was by his side until the end.
He was born August 23, 1939 in Miles City, Montana to Theros and Gladys Markos. He was raised in Powderville and Sheffield, attending school in Powderville.
He met his wife Gloria in Roundup and they were married over 50 years together. They have one daughter together, Wanda. He also had two other daughters, Carrie Heide and Anita Heide.
Charles was a kind and loving man and a great father. He was a rancher, and he especially liked working with the cattle and driving tractors. He was also fond of horses. He loved dogs, especially his favorite companion Dachshund, Minute.
He is survived by his three daughters, six grandchildren, and his brother George Markos. He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Markos and his parents, Theros and Gladys Markos
