Charlie “CJ” Scott, III age 24 formerly from Lame Deer, Montana passed away in Odem, TX on October 6, 2014. He was born July 25, 1990 in Crow Agency, Montana to Charles Scott, Jr. and Apolonia “Paula” Castro.
He went to the White Buffalo Center in High School. He was well liked and outgoing. Charlie was the type of person that if you were going through a hard time. He knew exactly what to say.
CJ moved to Odem, TX to be closer to his Grandfather, where he found a job at Subway
Restaurant. He was there over three years. Working day to day with the customers is what he enjoyed the most. All his customers knew him well, and greeted him when they walked in the door.
CJ is survived by his mother, Paula (Nate) Stops; father, Charles (Nema) Scott, Jr.; his brothers AJ Castro, Thales Stops at Pretty Places, and Nathan Stops at Pretty Places, Jr.; sisters Henny Scott, Francelli Stops at Pretty Places and Tylnn Takes The Knife; and his best friends, Mandy Garcia and Nicole Whiteshirt.
He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandmother Alberta Spang; Grandfather Charles Scott, Sr.; and maternal Grandmother Dorothy Castro, and Grandfather Felix Castro.
His extended family includes his Canadian Family: Solway, Scott, Bruised Head, Mountain Horse, Yellow Horn, Holloway, Potts, Provast, Pard, Good Stricker, Smith, Little Bear; and Northern Cheyenne family include Spang, Fisher, Harris, Seminole, Whistling Elk, Whiteman, Redrobe, and Castro.
