Charlie Naus age 88, of Gillette died December 26, 2003 at his home in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes. No services are planned.
Charles Lewis Naus was born the son of Harold and Florence (Mackley) Naus in Francisville, Illinois on June 27, 1915. At the age of five he moved to El Dorado, Kansas where he was raised and educated. Upon his graduation he attended one year of junior college. On April 27, 1937 Charlie married Eunice Mae Frakes in Eldaradoe. Charlie worked in the oilfield all of his life. He moved around from Russell, Kansas to Glendive, Montana, Williston, North Dakota, Tioga, North Dakota, Newcastle, Wyoming then finally to Gillette in 1960 where he lived until the time of his death. Charlie was and avid fisherman.
He is survived by one son, Michael C. Naus and his wife Nancy; three grandsons and one great grandson.
