This is a condolence of sympathy for the Family; especially Carol (his wife of 55 years), Penny Ewan (eldest sister care-taker), and the rest of the immediate family. Rock smiled at me and told me I was one of his great-great-great grandnieces! He talked about the Grasshopper family, and remembered the Battle of the Little Big Horn stories, and our sacred “Sweet Medicine Bundle” that had to be taken underground, due to improper authorities saying and demanding that we should have NO freedom of religion. The nerve of the USA gov., to say this; despite the fact that we WELCOMED them to our shores, and lands, when they were persecuted in West European countries…Despite these attacks and impervious statements, my regards to one of our last Great Chiefs of the Northern/Southern Cheyenne…Sta-sa-whuaoms Uncle!
