Christopher “Chris” Michael Lathrop was born in Westminister Colorado on April 25th 1989 to Gary and Vicki Lathrop. He is the first born to the family. Chris entered into this world with a fight. He was strong willed and a fighter. Chris enjoyed being out at the lake, camping, fishing, and being a dad. His dream was to own his own trucking company. He left his career in the oil field to start is dream with his best friend Edwin. Everyone knew Chris as a hard worker driven by his family he had started. Chris made sure to push his kids to the fullest. They never had a dull moment. You would catch him playing their favorite song on car rides, to painting nails, to making bets who could stay on the tube behind the boat the longest. Chris was never really a planner, he lived life on the edge and planned as he went. This was his best quality.
Chris was proceeded in death by Grandparents Gary and Fay Lathrop, Grandpa Jim Rodabough, Aunt Star, and Aunt Kristy Zornes.
Chris is survived by his wife Brittany, Daughters Hailey, Emily, and Addilynn, his son Darren, Parents Gary and Vicki Lathrop, Brother Randy, Sister Jesica, Grandparents Jay and Linda Buser, nieces and nephews and his best friend who was like a brother Edwin (wife and girls).
There will be a service held in Gillette for family and friends as well as one in Evans Colorado for family and friends. Dates and times will be determined at a later time.
