Clarence Keith CK Drew, 52, suddenly passed away at his residence and went home to be with the Lord and Savior on the evening of February 25, 2007.
CK was a devoted father, brother, neighbor and a friend to many. He lived 52 years and left us too soon after a long-fought battle with heart disease and diabetes. CK was born October 25, 1954, in Miles City, Montana to Martha Ann Drew Hance Corrow & Keith Drew. He was raised on his grandmother May Pains sheep ranch near Weldon, Montana and graduated from Circle High School in the Class of 1973. He played football and basketball and during his senior year managed the body shop at Frontier Ford. He spent several years drilling oil in Montana and the Dakotas. He also worked for the county road department in the legendary winter of 1978-79 and then went on to start and own his own body shop Circle Body Works which he ran for 20 years. For seven of those years he owned and managed the Corner Bar in Circle with his long-time friend, mentor and former father-in-law Woody Hawkinson. CK enjoyed the outdoors and Fort Peck Lake. He loved to camp, fish, hunt, and later excelled at gold panning. He also loved taking trips to Puerto Rico with his friend Jim Bryan.
CK married his first wife, Gina Hawkinson, in Sturgis, South Dakota in 1978. They had two children of which only one survived. They were later divorced. He married his second wife, Denise Olson, in December of 1998. Out of this union one child was born. They were later divorced.
CK is survived by his special friend, Mona Sult, of Billings, Montana; son, Cody Woodrow Drew of Circle, Montana; son, Weldon Naveron Drew of Richey, Montana; mother, Martha Ann (Erwin) Hance Corrow of Circle, Montana; his biological father, Keith Drew of Red Oaks, Texas; five brothers, Jim (Darlene) Hance of Gillette, Wyoming, Kevin (Cheryl) Hance, Mark (Peggy) Hance, Flint (Jana) Hance, all of Billings, Montana and Brett Hance of Circle, Montana; three sisters, Dallas Curtiss of Phoenix, Arizona, Kitty (Jim) Sorlie, and Jennifer Waller, all of Billings, and many special friends throughout the world.
CK was preceded in death by his son, CJ Drew, his brother, Bob Hance, his nephew, Kory Hance, his stepfather George Hance and his mentor of several years Woody Hawkinson. May the sun shine upon his face, may the wind be at his back, and may he be three days in heaven with the Lord before the devil knows hes dead. We will miss him very much and I love you dad.
