In Memory Of

Claude Delbert Wyman, age 86, Miles City.

February 24, 1939 – June 22, 2025

Claude Delbert Wyman, age 86, of Miles City went to heaven to dance with his wife on June 22, 2025.

Claude was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 24, 1939, approximately the middle child in a family of 13 children, born to Claude and Marie Wyman. Following his schooling he joined the U.S. Navy in California where he met his wife to be Reta Hansen. They wed in 1960 and in 1963 they had their first son Jeff before moving to Billings. In 1966, a daughter Theresa was born then in 1967 a son Paul. They lived in Billings until 1968 when Claude moved the family to Miles City and then bought the family farm in Kinsey in 1972. The family lived there until the unexpected passing of his wife and youngest son. Shortly after, he sold the farm and moved back to Michigan to be around his brothers and sisters. He moved back to Miles City in April of 2021 to be near his children and grandchildren.

Claude is survived by his oldest son Jeffrey S. Wyman of Miles City, MT; his only daughter Theresa L. Wyman (Marty) Scheid of Miles City, MT; a grandson, three great grandsons and a great granddaughter. He has one remining sister, Sharon Wyman (Bill) Cuchinski of Kalamazoo, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife Reta Hansen and his youngest son Paul.

Claude was as he always said “Blessed and a Happy Camper”. We miss you already.

Theresa and Jeff – Very fond memories of your Dad. I remember when he would pick me up to bring me out to the farm for the weekend with Theresa. Along the Kinsey road he would point out where all the animals were living. He also had the video store for awhile too. We even shared a birthday and occasionally were at the same restaurant for our birthdays. My late husband Verlin loved to visit with Claude – both of them loved the rural life.
