Claudia Ann Creighton (Morin), age 65, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on July 17, 2004 in Denver, CO. She was born July 11, 1939 in Poplar to James Brunelle and Vina Beauchman.
Claudia had several interesting careers including 12 years at Traders State Bank as an insurance agent. However, if you were to ask her, the only important position she held was Grandma. She enjoyed baking, reading, movies, writing poetry, and pow-wows. But everything paled in comparison to indulging her beloved grandchildren.
Claudia is survived by her husband, John J. Morin, sons, Phillip (Barbara) Creighton of Gulf Port, MS and Wade (Xan) Creighton and grandchildren Brianne, Sydney, Jacob, and Nicholas of Wolf Point. Her parents Louis and Vina LaFloe of Wolf Point; brothers James Brunelle of Champlin, MN, Rob LaFloe of Helena, and Mike LaFloe of Poplar, and sister Margaret Leggett of Wolf Point; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
Her father, James Brunelle and sister Celina Seversen preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23 from 6 to 8 pm with a vigil service at 7 pm at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
