Funeral services: Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 10:00 am at the VFW in Jordan, MT.
Interment: will follow in the Butte Creek Cemetery with full Military Honors
Clifford O. Lervick, 85, of Billings, formerly of Jordan, MT, passed away early April 9th at the Deaconess Billings Clinic.
He was surrounded by his 9 children and his grandchildren.Clifford was born September 28, 1920, to George and Christine Lervick.
Clifford grew up on the family ranch in Garfield County. He served proudly during WWII in Italy and the Aleutian Islands as part of the 10th Mountain Division.After the war he returned to Garfield County where he was introduced by his sisters to Rose Shawver. Rose and Cliff were married September 12, 1945, in Miles City. He and Rose lived and worked in Garfield County until 1958. At that time they moved to Billings where Cliff worked for Midland Materials. In 1969, they moved back to the Lervick family ranch. Cliff & Rose retired from the ranch in 1997 and moved to their home in the Billings Heights. Rose passed away Sept 28, 2003.
Clifford is survived by his 9 children. Melvin (Linda) Lervick of Redmond, WA., Leonard Lervick of Billings, Cathy (Roger) Redlin of Thornton, Co., Evelyn (Allen) Halvorson of Polson, MT., Tim (Judy) Lervick of Jordan, Roxie (Bruce) Burrows of Billings, Sandra (Joe) Gibson of Sand Springs, Connie (Mark) Miller of Cody, WY, and Wanda (Doug) Beckett of Billings.
He is survived by 17 grandchildren, Brent, Ryan, Shannon, Kristina, Jeana, Tom, Alyssa, Stephanie, Jamie, Ty, Christopher, Sara, Michelle, Jeff, John, Blaine & Barbie. Additionally, he is survived by two great grandchildren, Destiny and Kaylee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 from 1:00 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Jordan. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Jordan, MT.
