Clyde Ray Medearis, age 73, of Miles City, passed away on November 20, 2025, at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Montana. He was born on August 21, 1952, to John H. & Minnie Medearis in Miles City, Montana.
Clyde was born and raised in Eastern Montana. He attended first grade in Ismay before going to Plevna, graduating from Plevna High School in 1970. After high school, he attended college in Havre for a year before returning home to pursue the life he loved. He purchased his ranch on the Powder River, where he spent many years raising cattle. He got a lot of enjoyment flying his super cub on the family ranch throughout the years. In 2007, he sold the ranch and moved into Miles City, where he enjoyed a quieter pace while staying close to the community he knew so well.
Clyde was the proud father of one son, Sheldon
Those who knew Clyde will remember him as a talented dancer. He spent countless evenings dancing in Miles City and surrounding towns, where he was a familiar and lively presence on the dance floor. He loved attending auction sales and was always bringing home some new find.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Medearis. He is survived by his son, Sheldon; his brothers Jeff (Barb) Medearis, John (Rena) Medearis, and Bill Medearis; and his sister, Angy (Scot) Robinson. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
