Corliss Ann “Penny” Little Wolf, age 71, of Lame Deer passed away on Friday, October 1, 20121.
Penny was born the daughter of William Mike Little Wolf and Leona White Dirt on December 7, 1949. Penny was raised in Kirby Creek, attended high school at Hardin High school and she was proud of her honorary degree from Chief Dull Knife College.
Penny married Cleveland High Bull and they first made their home in Pine Ridge, S.D., then in Kirby Creek and finally Lame Deer. Kirby Creek was always in Penny’s heart. Penny would like to go and sit and talk about stories of growing up, stories of relatives who camped, and of course crazy stories of her friends and relatives she grew up with. Penny’s dream was to one day move back to Kirby Creek. Penny was well known in pow-wow country, including Canada. Penny used to fancy dance with buckskin dress and then traditional dance. Penny made many friends and family on the pow-wow trail. Families that she gained are: Slickpoo, Umtuch, Colwash, Windy Boy, Standing Rock and Scabby Robe.
Penny is survived by her daughter Evelyn High Bull, sons Gordon High Bull, Cleveland High Bull, Jr. and Eugene Holy Elk Boy. She is also survived by her sister Susan Little Wolf, and Grand-daughter Jewel High Bull.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Cleveland Hold Elk Boy. Her relatives are the families of White Dirt, Yellow Eyes, Spotted Elk, Whistling Elk, Braided Hair, Should Blade, Lone Bear/Scalpcane, King, and Old Elk.
Family, relatives and adopted family is large and we apologize if we forgot any names.

Heartfelt condolences to my Northern Niece and Nephews.
I have fond memories of Kirby Creek… We Southern relatives were always welcome to Kirby Creek by Mike and Leona. Corliss was my friend and cousin and I will cherish my memories of her.
Rest in Peace Sister,
Rayford and your Southern Family
