I am completely stunned and devastated. Dale, one of my very dearest and best friends since kindergarten. So many great memories playing with matchbox cars in the dirt, outdoor games and late summer nights with all of the kids in the neighborhood, football team mates in high school, cruising main and wherever in his Ford Ltd and on his motorcycle, walking to and from school together before he got the Ford LTD, going out to the Kinsey school to play volleyball on Thursday nights. Oh the list can go on. One of my very fondest memories was early spring of 1987. Stryper (christian rock/glam band) was on tour and scheduled for Rapid City, SD. I bought two tickets for us to go since he had the car and I did not have one. I did not even ask him if he wanted to go or even if he was interested. He always just went with my flow with no questions asked. At the show, we were separated in the crowd by about ten feet and I remember him turning to look at me with one of the biggest smiles of joy I have ever seen from him with his fists pumping in the air. I am honored to have given him that joy and will remember and cherish it forever. Godspeed Dale Lee Beyl. Until we meet again, you are in my heart forever and forever.
