Dale Franklin “Bubba” McCarthy, III, age 21, passed away November 3, 2020 at the Prairie County Nursing Home in Terry, MT of an inoperable brain tumor. He was born April 30, 1999 in Miles City, MT to Dale F. McCarthy, II and Robyn Zabroski.
Dale had a unique journey in this life as he was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 4. His operation left him blind in one eye and he went through chemotherapy and radiation. He grew up and attended schools in Miles City. Dale enjoyed fishing on the Yellowstone River, playing video games, and listening to music. At the age of 16 the brain tumor returned, and he again went through the chemotherapy and radiation therapy. At the age of 18 the tumor once again returned and was considered inoperable.
Dale was preceded in death by his mother, Robyn Zabroski. He is survived by his father Dale McCarthy, II of Miles City, MT, one sister Cristen McCarthy and one brother Trevor Zabroski of Miles City, MT.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of charge of arrangements.
