Dale David Hubbert, age 65, of Terry, MT passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his home in Terry after courageous battle with cancer.
Dale was born in Terry, Montana the third son of Roy and Merle (Sanders) Hubbert. He attended schools in Terry before enlisting in the U. S. Marine Corps at the age of seventeen. After Dales honorable discharge from the service, he worked in the oil fields, mostly in Wyoming. Dale met the love of his life, Arlene Harrison, and in 1963 they were united in marriage in Gillette, Wyoming. Together they raised their five children; Don, David, Kelly, Laurie, and Michelle. Dale then began working for Buffalo Rapids in Terry, Montana for several years. He bought the Interstate Texaco which he operated until he began working for United Beverage. After working there for twelve years, United Beverage became Blue Rock Distributing and Dale continued on for another two years. He then began working for Thirud Office Supply as a salesman and later purchased the business which he ran until his retirement. Dale had a knack for selling and enjoyed visiting and sharing stories with his customers.
Dale enjoyed fishing, both in the summer and winter months, and spent many weekends at their cabin on North Rock Creek with his family. Dale had a love of sports cars, especially corvettes, which he enjoyed cruising in and entering in car shows. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the NFL and NASCAR and was even able to attend some of these events with his family. Dale was proud of his time in the service and was very patriotic and being a staunch Republican, he faithfully watched FOX News. But most of all, Dale loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his wife, Arlene Hubbert of Terry, MT, three sons; Don (Rosa) of Miles City, MT, David of Albertan, MT, and Kelly (Dulcy) of Helena, MT, two daughters; Laurie of Terry, MT and Michelle of Boise, ID, five grandchildren; Buddy (Debbie) of Shepherd, MT, Cori (Travis) of Farmington, MN, Shawna and Dale James D.J. both of Helena, MT and Bailey of Boise, ID, one great grandchild that is on the way and several nephews and a niece.

Steve H. says
Seems like yesterday that Dale that if asked he would give is help, opinion or just a honest answer. Still miss him and think of him often, especially when a 65 Vette crosses my path.
