After graduation, Dallas took a full basketball scholarship to Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY and later transferred to Sitting Bull College in ND then to the United Tribes Tech College with a full basketball scholarship in Bismarck, ND to be closer to his family and then to MSU-Northern in Havre, MT. His accomplishments include thrilling the crowd by dunking in junior high. He then was chosen all-conference in his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. He traveled to play in basketball tournaments in Billings, Missoula, Polson, and many more places to numerous to list. He also played in North and South Dakota, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, and Nebraska. He broke school records in shooting, rebounds, free throws, and steals. On January 27, 2001 Dal broke the school record for scoring the most points in a game with 59 points. His ability to wow the crowd and fill the gym to standing room only was awesome. Everyone had a favorite shot, dunk, or game theyd share with others.
Dallas hobbies included basketball, hunting, fishing, watching movies, chillin, cruzing with friends and his latest hobby of internet surfing for his favorite Pontiac cars. He worked with his dad and uncles in construction. He loved to travel to basketball tournaments. He was a role model and inspiration to all his friends and the youth in the Frazer community. His character, traits, manners, and consideration was a gift that made him many friends and acquaintances. His mutual respect of others and their qualities gained him many friends that he will remember and take with him in the next life. Having touched and being a part of you, Dal would want you to take care of yourself, keep looking ahead, and accomplish your goals. His aggressiveness when he played ball was a trait that family, friends and others should carry on as an example in his love of life and its competitions.
When we saw him as well all cherish and remember, he brightened our day, in the moment with his smile. It was in his nature that hed brighten your day with his smile, as we all know and will cherish in our memories forever. Dal was openly affectionate with his family and friends in his greetings. We all know in this obituary, something has been left out, unwritten, unsaid to each and every one of us being theres so much to say. Words and actions cant describe the specialness in the way he touched us and his existence with us. He will always live in our hearts forever. He was a star on the basketball court and now a star in heaven. On behalf of the family, they would like to thank everyone for their prayers, support and acts of kindness.
