Our beloved son, brother, dad and grandson, Dana Shoulderblade (Red Fox) was called home on March 4, 2017. He was named after his paternal grandfather, Ralph Red Fox. He was born on October 24, 1984, to Serena Shoulderblade and William Red Fox. He was a member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. He grew up in the Lame Deer and Busby Community. Dana attended the Lame Deer Elementary School and the Northern Cheyenne Tribal Schools. At the time of his passing, Dana was working on getting his G.E.D. He was a fire fighter for eight years for the Northern Cheyenne Forestry. Dana’s passion was fighting MMA and started with boxing, fusions fights in Billings four times. Dana was very proud of his daughters and loved them dearly.
Dana was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernadine Shoulderblade Sr. and Geraldine Big Back; aunts, Pamela Shoulderblade and Berdine Shoulderblade & his cousin, Dennis Whitedirt and his great grandparents, Wendell “Turkey” & Ruth Blackwolf Shoulderblade and Wendeline Neiss, Wendell Jr. & Francis Shoulderblade & Robert Big Back Sr. & Gladys Hadley. His paternal side, Ralph, Reva and Robert Red Fox.
Dana is survived by his mother, Serena; sisters, Delmarie (Eddison) Shoulderblade & Brittany (Adam L.) Whiteman; brothers: Darrell Whiteman Jr., Brandy Ontiveros, and Tyler Red Fox; daughters, Clarice Wallowing Bull, Amanda Shoulderblade, Austine Limberhand, Layla and Lisa Shoulderblade; numerous nieces and nephews; uncle: Bernadine (Valentine) Jr., Lawrence Neiss, Clayton Neiss, Austin Two Moons III, Keith Shoulderblade, Thomas Shoulderblade, Hadley Shoulderblade, Clint Shoulderblade, Wendell Shoulderblade III, Thomas L Shoulderblade, Detrich Shoulderblade, Dyron Shoulderblade, Derek Shoulderblade, Donielle Shoulderblade; aunts: Reanna Two Moons, Starla Shoulderblade, Renecia Shoulderblade, Halona Shoulderblade, Crystal Shoulderblade, Sheila Shoulderblade, Talena Shoulderblade, Tiffany Shoulderblade, Tonielle Shoulderblade; cousins: Anthony Shoulderblade, Bernadine (Cianna) Shoulderblade, Pamela Shoulderblade, Baby Son, Skyler Small & Amanda Fran Shoulderblade; great grandmother, Marie Littlewolf; grandparents, Ron (Cindy), Larry, Robert Jr., Gordan & Leslie Big Back, Gail Big Back, Roberta Big Back, and Marie (Calvin) Brady, Mary Shoulderblade, Wilma Too Moons and Don(Ruthie) Shoulderblade, and their families. Dana’s maternal relatives include the Shoulderblades, Blackwolfs, Weaselbears, Woodenlegs, Walkslast, Fisher, Big Back families. His paternal relatives are the Redfox, American Horse, Twomoons, Rockroads, Whitewolf, Russells, Littlesuns, Killsontops, Littlebears & Lamewomen families.
