Funeral Service: Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:00 am at Grace Bible Church in Miles City

Interment: will follow in the Custer County Cemetery

Daniel Dan the Man Bastian, age17, of Miles City left this earth from the arms of his parents to be with the Lord on August 10, 2007.

Danny was born on March 20, 1990 in Miles City, son of Jim and Cathy Bastian. He attended school in Miles City and because of his special teachers and aides Daniel was able to spend many years in a regular first and second grade classroom. He especially loved Sherri Henderson, Kara Mader, Cheri McAulay and Jennie Hilderman. As well as Harriet Carroll, Cindy Thompson and Curtis Rose.

Danny was a special boy who holds a special place in all of our hearts. His ever present smile and good heartedness will be remembered by all. He now loves riding his bike, with his friend Trent Schreiber, and running and jumping with his big sister Wendy.

Danny is survived by his parents, Jim and Cathy Bastian of Miles City, MT, grandparents; Alice Weyerbacher of Miles City, his brothers and sisters; Amber Bastian of Miles City, Karin and Scott Helmig of Billings, MT, Megan Bastian of Fargo, ND, Chris and Cassie Bastian of Casselton, ND and Tim Bastian of Miles City, along with his nieces and nephews; Marissa, Harrison and Isaac Helmig all of Billings, MT and Emma Bastian of Casselton, ND.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Elwyn and Evelyn Bastian and Ralph Weyerbacher and a sister, Wendy Bastian.

Daniel was a miracle boy from the moment he was born. Without the tender loving care of his beloved Dr. Young, nurses and medical staff Daniel wouldnt have blessed us for 17 years.
