Kay, Dan, Janet & Families:
There are no words that can express how sorry we are for your loss! Hopefully, happy memories will help ease your grief. Nick had a great sense of humor and was a practical joker–I’ll never forget the time he came to the office, cracked the door, bellowed like a calf and almost made me fall off my chair– it sounded so real and he sure had a good chuckle!! Take care of yourselves, our deepest sympathy, and call me Kay if there is ANYTHING we can do for you or the kids.
Valli & Hugh

Bryan, Laura and Family says
Aunt Kay, Dan and Janet, we are very sorry for your loss and we love you all. There is not enough room to write all the great memories of Uncle Nick. I (Bryan) owe much of who I am to Uncle Nick, especially my joking personality. Nick taught me much when I was growing up, and I will always remember the many days and nights at the saw mill. We wish we could be there in person but we are praying for you all. Please know that God has a greater plan that we cannot and do not understand but strength in him will draw us closer to the ones we have and have lost.
Love you much,
Bryan (BJ), Laura and kids…..

We share your loss. What good times we had! We remember Nick’s sense of humor, such as when he crashed his radio-controlled airplane and used its remains to run the bases of the baseball field at the mill, dragging its parts behind it. He was such a likeable guy. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Kay, Family, and Friends,
May you seek the Scriptures and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for comfort, for answers, for help, and for new strength.
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Bruce and Nancy Klapmeier says
Kay, Dan, Janet & families,
We are so sorry to hear about Dan. The thing I remember most is that when he was in the room with you there was always a LOT of laughter, his huge smile and twinkling eyes. The other thing that I remember when I think of Dan is how much he loved his family – it was SO obvious. I know the memories will last forever and I hope they help you to get through the difficult times ahead.
Love from Bruce and Nancy Klapmeier

Kay and everyone:
Another long time friend and part of the old bowling crew has moved on. The picture of him with the big smile is so indicative. Dan found humor in every conversation. Fun to talk with. I remember the great fun he and dad always had with their weekly bowling bet, five…………cents. Best wishes.
Doug and Lucy
T. Kelly says
I am so sorry for your loss. May the God of Comfort be with your family. We can find comfort during these times by focusing on God’s promises for the future. Isaiah 33:24 says there will be a time when “no resident will say I am sick.” Also Revelation 21:4 says death wil be no more.
