The Creator saw Danny was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So the Creator put his arms around him and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes loved one's prayed and watched Danny slowly fade away, although we loved him deeply, we could not make him stay

Daniel Joseph Longtree, 48, of Havre, peacefully passed away in his sleep on September 9, 2006 in Poplar. Meeting him in Paradise is his mother, Ida M. Longtree-Snell, step father Carl Snell, sister Cathleen Longtree, brothers David P. Longtree and James Longtree.

He leaves behind to remember him his sister Janice Longtree-Pitts and her husband Gary Pitts of Thompson Falls, MT; nieces Rebecca Longtree of Pablo, MT and Ida Loves Him of Billings; nephew Tony Loves Him of Salt Lake City, UT; one adopted son, Emery Loves Him. He is also survived by first cousins, Phillip and Pauline Granbois, Clarence Longtree, Jr., Maria Youngman, Tara Longtree and Kevin (Lynnette) Longtree, all of Poplar, Stan (Sherry) Longtree of Belcourt, ND; favorite nephews Derris Longtree, Carlon Longtree, Carter Longtree and one precious granddaughter Haley Longtree, whom he was extremely proud of and loved dearly; and many other family, friends, and relatives of the Fort Peck and Fort Belknap reservations and the westend.
