Daniel William Young, age 55, of Forsyth, MT passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at his residence in Forsyth.
Daniel was born on January 7, 1955 the son of Geraldine (Jarvis) Young in Salmon, Idaho. He grew up and attended schools in Salmon. Following his schooling he moved to Deer Lodge, MT and later to Colstrip, MT where he went to work for Montana Power on their maintenance crew for nearly twenty years. He was united in marriage to Patsy Alder on June 28, 1979. Later they divorced and he moved to Forsyth. The past few years he had been working for local business in the Forsyth area. He loved to hunt and go rock hunting, camping and fishing. He loved all things outdoors and would just walk for hours to enjoy the scenery. Daniel will always be remembered for his kindness to anyone.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Young, father, Thomas Young and two brothers, Terry and Ronnie Young.
Daniel is survived by his son Joseph Young of Livingston, MT; his daughters Amber (Travis) Quiroz of Colstrip, MT and Jasmine Grimes of Great Falls, MT; his brother Thomas (Chris) Young of Fromburg; his sisters Valerie Dauterman of Forsyth, MT and Tamara Mendenhall of Forsyth, MT; his special nephew Justin Young and his four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth, MT.Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth, MT.
