Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Brockton Cultural Center.
Interment: will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery.
Daniel Lawrence Johnson, age 28, of North Brockton, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2011.
He was born August 31, 1982 in Poplar to Vearlene Red Dog and Dewey Johnson. Daniel attended Medicine Lake School where he enjoyed playing High School Football and graduated in May 2001. After graduation he attended Trapper Creek Job Corps, and then returned to the farm to help his father. He enjoyed life on the farm, hunting, fishing, and playing video games with his brothers and nephews.
He is survived by his father, Dewey (Toni) Johnson of North Brockton; mother, Vearlene Red Dog of Poplar; sisters, Laura (William) Johnson of Minot, ND, Carrie Rinesmith of Twin Falls, ID, Pauline (Lester) Johnson of Poplar, Eva (OJ) Hernandez of North Brockton, Mikhael (Alfred) Partman of New Orleans, LA, and Christine Johnson of North Brockton; brothers, John (Natasha) Johnson of Poplar, and Patrick Johnson of North Brockton; step sisters, Leaona Ogle, Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond Baxter of North Brockton; step brothers, Leon (Rachel) Mitchell of Poplar, Andrew Mitchell and Taurean Baxter of North Brockton; adopted brother, Edmund Youpee of Brockton; uncles, Gerald (Debbie) Johnson of Poplar, John (Kelly) Johnson of Yuba City, CA, Michael (Linda) Saala of Marysville, CA, Maynard Hawk of Poplar, Richard Hawk of Poplar; aunties, Bonnie (Johnnie) Youpee, Doris RedDog, Rhea (Ronnie) Starr, Lauren RedDog, Estelle BearCub and Kara RedDog all of Poplar; and many cousins, nephews, and nieces, too numerous to mention.
He is preceded in death by both grandparents, Daniel & Phyllis Johnson and Lawrence & Almena RedDog; uncles, David Johnson, James Red Dog; aunts, Terri Delong, Pam RedDog and Carol RedDog.
A wake will be held 7 p.m. Friday, February 11, at the Brockton Cultural Center. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, February 12, also at the Brockton Cultural Center. Interment will follow at the Johnson family cemetery, North Brockton, MT.Condolences may be sent to the family atwww.stevensonandsons.com.
