Danny Ray Taylor, age 45, of Billings, Montana formerly of Miles City, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2005 as a result of a work related trucking accident.

Danny was born on August 1, 1959 to Raymond and Irene Turquist Taylor in Cooperstown, North Dakota and moved to Miles City in 1968. He attended school here until he was 17 at which time he joined the army. Danny was stationed in Germany where he drove armored tanks. He and Donna Leitholt were married on June 11, 1983. To this union, one son, Christopher John, was born. They were later divorced. He moved to Billings around 1990. Danny worked on various construction and oil field jobs throughout his life. He was employed by B.J. Services at Rock Springs, Wyoming at the time of his death.

Danny was a Denver Bronco fan, but also enjoyed all sports. He loved to play darts and pool and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone.

Danny is survived by his mother, Irene Sallgren and her husband Ray of Miles City, MT; his father Raymond and his wife Sarah of Conroe, TX; a son, Christopher John Taylor of Miles City, MT; his grandmother, Berniece Turnquist of Cooperstown, ND; a brother, Marty Bjerke of Billings, MT; three sisters: Marcia Goldmark and her husband Chuck of Sacramento, CA; Jeanette Cremer and her husband Chuck of Billings, MT; and Toni Pembroke and her husband Larry of Gaylord, MI; three step-brothers: Duane Maier and his wife Debbie of Miles City, MT; and Douglas (Judy) Maier of Chandler, AZ, and Bill of Oklahoma; four step sisters: Barbara Brendt and her husband Charles of Miles City, MT; Shirley Hendry and her husband Lee of Miles City, MT; Lori Price of Miles City, MT; and Nancy Hawke of Uricka, CA; three uncles: Allan Turnquist and his wife Glady of Miles City, MT; Terry Turnquist and his wife Mickey of Miles City, MT; and J.W. and his wife Pearl Taylor of Conrow, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Danny is also survived by his special friend Lisa Bledsoe and her son Clayton.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandfather Martin Turnquist, Grandparents; James & Willie May Taylor, one step-brother and his step-father, Oscar Maier.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
