Dar-La Kay Williams, age 38 of Miles City, Montana, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2003 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Dar-La was born on January 6, 1965 in Greenville, Michigan, the daughter of Larry and Darlene (Miller) Williams. In 1967, the family moved to Miles City where she attended grade schools and graduated from Custer County High School. After her graduation, she attended Miles Community College where she worked towards her nursing degree. Dar-La worked in the professional world in Montana, Wyoming and Pennsylvania. She then returned to Miles City where she worked along side of her dad at Larrys Auto Sales and most recently as the manager of the Montana Bar. Dar-La enjoyed country western music, singing and working at the bar, but the most important thing in her life was her children and family.
Dar-La is survived by her children; Zachary Killham of Havre, MT, Wendy Sue Killham of Bismarck, ND, Crista Killham of Thermopolis, WY, and Tori Ann Meldrum of Miles City, MT, a granddaughter, MacKenzie Martin, her parents, Larry and Darlene Williams of Miles City, MT, four brothers; Wayne Williams and Larry Lee Williams of Miles City, MT, Larry Joe Williams of Billings, MT and Harold Williams of Miles City, MT, a sister, Holly Lang of Hardin, MT, and a special friend Naomi Morgan.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Visitation will begin on Monday, December 8, 2003 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery. Following the graveside services, a luncheon will be served at the Park Place. Everyone is invited. Should friends wish, condolences may be sent to the family by visitingwww.stevensonandsons.com.
Should friends desire, memorials may be sent to the St. Judes Children Hospital or to the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
