Wake services: will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Funeral services: will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS (Mormon) Church in Wolf Point.
Burial: will follow at the St. Josephs Cemetery in Frazer, MT
Darlene Pearl (Fourstar) Gray, age 58 of Wolf Point, Montana, passed away on December 26, 2007 at the Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.
Darlene was born on December 9, 1949 the daughter of Andrew Raleigh and Gae (Moccasin) Fourstar in Frazer, Montana. She enjoyed beading, bingo, listening to pow-wow music, cruising around and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed being with her grandkids.
Darlene is survived by her five children. She was married to Marvin Bull Chief Sr. and to this union three children were born; Marvin (Amanda) Bull Chief Jr., Marva (Steven) Bull Chief and Shirlene Bull Chief who preceded her in death. She later married Steven Douglas Sr. and they had one son Steven Douglas Jr. and Darlene later married Emory Gray and they had one daughter Emoree Gray. She raised Deland Red Boy of Wolf Point, MT as her own son and she had an adopted daughter Ann Denny of Billings, and adopted daughter Karen Jackson, and adopted sons Harlan and Luke Jackson. Darlene had 19 grandchildren; Renae, Jason, Kyleen, Bradley, Quentin, Miranda, Kyle, Darris, Cecil, Cee Cee, Shandarra, Andrea, Farren, Meronica, Heather, Nakiya, Kylie, Valynn, and Larynn, 8 great grandchildren; Tayawn, Kiari, Ashlyn, Jacora, Luke Jr., Tristen, Anthony and Adrianna 4 sisters and 2 brothers; Shirlene (Harold) Gleed, Ruby (Wallace) Runs Through Sr., Arlene Hall, Irene (Mason) Runs Through Sr., Dallas Fourstar and Andrew Fourstar Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Emory Gray, daughter, Shirlene Bull Chief, grandson, Melvin, granddaughter Latoya, parents; Andrew and Gae Fourstar, brother, Clair Fourstar, sisters; Ernestine Jackson and Norma Plant, adopted brother Willie Sharp and adopted sister Bertha Ackerman.
