On the evening of April 7, 2017 Darlene peacefully passed away at Highgate Memory Cottage in Billings, MT. Darlene was 80 years old.
Darlene Fiske was born October 5, 1936 in Miles City to George and Mildred (Sindelar) Fiske. She was the oldest child, followed by Donald, Marilyn, and Stan. Darlene married Robert South and had three children- Bob (Cory), Diana (SouthSchrock), and Rod (Irina). She was an amazing wife and mother. Robert preceeded her in death August 4, 2016.
Dolly worked for Holy Rosary Hospital as an RN on med/surg floor for over 30 years. She loved being a nurse. She was also an exceptional gardener, an incredible cook, and good at anything she set her mind to doing. She made everyone feel comfortable visiting her home. She adored her God and was inspirational to others to the very end. She will be greatly missed and always loved.
Darlene is survived by her siblings and children, and grandchildren- Heather (Matt), Matthew (Elaina), Kenneth, Jennifer, and Anthony. She also has 2 great grandchildren- Heidi, and Elly.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
