Darrin Ray Wilson, VOVÓ’HASÈ’HAMÈ’HE “SPOTTED HORSE”, passed away on December 31, 2023, at midnight.
He was a talented chef who displayed his skills at Cadillac Jax, The High Horse, and in Nebraska. He would always “Chef Up” for his family and friends. Darrin enjoyed the outdoors, but above everything he enjoyed laughing and joking. He loved gatherings of all kinds. He enjoyed life with his nieces and nephews “Krunkle”. Darrin would want everyone to be happy and remember to enjoy life. He was selfless and always gave a piece of himself to the people he loved, never asking for anything back.
Darrin is survived by, Grandmother Janie Lafanier Spang; grandfather, George Spang; Father, Jerry Kash Spang (Velinda) Spang; Sisters, Tessa Dunker (Glen), Janell Spang; Brother, Kash Josef-Spang; Brother, Wanbli Fox-Spang; Nephews, Kane Widdicombe, Joel Widdicombe, Aiden Dunker; Auntie, Lynsey Parrish; Uncle, Lonnie Spang; Auntie, Shirley Small; Sister, Jessica Clampitt-Bickham (Justin); Niece and Nephew Brandon and Jasmine Waters.
Also surviving Darrin is his mother, Leah Wilson-Longie. Brothers Allen Jr, Wade and Delvin Longie. His aunts Patsy Riddle, Connie Richardson, Bonnie (Dennis) BearDon’tWalk. His uncles Alvin (Donna) Zimmer, Owen Vance. Brothers: Keith, Jared, Kevin, John, Xavier, Jeremy, Dennis, Mike, Thomas, Carlin, Luke, Ray, Brandon, AJ, Jeremy, Chris and Bon. Sisters: Wendy, Jenny, Jessie, Janie, Shauna, Amber, Ashley, Illyana Tazamia and Veronica. Many nieces and nephews that were loved by Darrin and they loved him. I know all the kids want to be named and I apologize for not being able to list all of you by name but there are way too many due to the fact that the family is too large. Darrin has another huge family from North Dakota. I would enjoy a huge shout out to Ginger Stillson and Jessica Clampitt-Brickman for being ride till you die forever friends to Darrin.
Always remember, we laughed, we lived and we loved, that is what matters most.
To other family members and friends there are too many to list as Darrin was very loved. If you are not mentioned her your presence and love are appreciated and not unnoticed. Thank you for being a part of his life, he loved you all.
