Darwin Kills On Top of Ashland, Mt passed away on February 25, 2013.
Mo’ohtaho’nehe Oxhaa’ehooesestse “Black High Wolf”, was born August 7, 1951 in Crow Agency the son of LaVerne and Alice Kills On Top. He grew up and received his education in Ashland and surrounding schools. Darwin spent most of his life in Spokane Washington. He worked as a carpenter, plumber, and a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Darwin is survived by his daughter Aquanetta, sisters Darlene (Manford) Soldier Wolf, Laverna Rocker, Pauline High Wolf, Stella Kills On Top, Jackie Tang, Orlena Kills On Top, Zola Kills On Top, Verda King, Aline Kills On Top, Evaleen Brave Heart, Jenny Kills On Top, brothers, Vern, Lester, Troy (Lori) Kills On Top, Edwin Whitman, David Powell, Steve Kills On Top; Aunts, Rosella (Jim) Mann, Marie Medicine Bull, Julitha Little Bird, Uncles, Douglas Spotted Eagle and John Kills On Top, Winfield Russell. His extended family include Elkshoulder, Strange Owl, Young Man, Beartusk, Medicine Top, Fox, Little Coyote, and Fighting Bears families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews if in our grief we have missed anyone please accept our apology.
Darwin is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, sister Arlene Long Jaw, niece Stormy Clark and daughter Darwina Kills On Top.
We offer a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and nursing staff at Billings Clinic, Ashland Heritage Center and staff, Community Oxygen, Northern Cheyenne Ambulance, and Christina & Chuck Pyle (Darwin’s neice), for all of their loving care for Darwin and his family.
